I was among the rubberneckers at the Valley Center Tuesday as TV types (the print guys kill them on the Wonderlic, I'm telling you that right now) peppered coach Rob with questions about next Tuesday's Inauguration. ... when was he leaving? What would he wear? Can he get away with putting on an orange OSU tie? ... OSU players Calvin Haynes and Lathen Wallace were asked if they were OK with coach Rob abandoning them briefly to fly to D.C.

"I wish I was going,'' said Haynes.

"I'm cool with it,'' said Wallace.
